My First Guitar Solo
Luckily I had the chance to record this!
Last night I finally started to play Iron Maiden’s “Fear of the Dark” guitar solo with enough speed. I’ve been practicing this for a while, but never could have timed it correctly. Yesterday I thought of giving it a try before going to bed, and magically it did work!

I know it must be funny; playing metal on an acoustic guitar, but that's what I actually love to play!
Believe it or not, but many songs sound just great without distortion and pedal effects. People who don’t listen to metal are primarily repelled by distortion; it prevents them from hearing the real tunes. Many of my friends who never listened to Iron Maiden did like this, others who knew Iron Maiden thought it was funny.
I still like it, you should hear my acoustic version of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” sometime you know :P
